The last meeting of 2011 [Dec 31, 2011]

The last meeting of 2011 was held on the 31st of December, 2011 in a BBQ restaurant nearby CNU campus. It was supposed to start after a proposed year-end dinner for all members of CSA-GWANGJU. However, two of our members could not join in this event due to their own businesses. The meeting was started with a welcome remark from the committee members and three main agenda were outlined.

1) The production of an official stamp of CSA-GWANGJU
2) The establishment of a research team (ICS)
3) The new update of the website of CSA-GWANGJU

As a result, we decided to make an official stamp of CSA-GWANGJU, which is identical to its newly updated logo. Meanwhile, we have agreed to establish a research team called “Integrated Cambodian Scientist (ICS)” after which the research projects will be proposed for financial support and implemented by this team. Finally, Mr. President explained benefits of incorporation of Google Adsense into the website of CSA-GWANGJU, which can make some money from the posted Ads. Moreover, the profile of each of active members was proposed to update to the most recent information.

We thank Mr. Vice President who has taken care of the stamp’s production, which was expected to be ready for use in the first week of January 2012. We also thank Mr. Saophuong who always captures the pictures of all events of our association.
