Korean Government Scholarship for Undergraduate Course‏

Chonnam National University is one of the universities in charge of recommendation of qualified candidates for Korean Government Scholarship Program for Undergraduate. If you are interested in this program please apply by deadline

2. Qualifications [for details check application]
- Under 25 years as of April 1, 2010
- GPA 80% (out of 100%) or within top 10% among graduates
- Not have enrolled in an undergraduate course in Korea before
- Who are good at Korean or English

3. Study Term: one year Korean Language Training + 4 years undergraduate course

The procedures:
57 universities can make recommendation up to 10 candidates to the NIIED, and NIIED will select only 150 scholars for 2010 undergraduate course from the worldwide.
If the candidate recommended by CNU and finally accepted, then they will study language and degree course in this university, or if they are recommended by the other university then they will study at that university.

The selection will be in order of higher score in all factors such as high school GPA score, language ability, recommendation letters, self introduction and study plan as well.
Beside the applicants must complete all the required document, and if some of documents are delay then they must fax us or email with scan file before the deadline.

Schedules:
- The deadline of Application submission: Jan 22, 2010(Fri)
- The selection of 10 candidates by University: Jan 25~26, 2010
- Mailing all the documents to NIIED: Jan 27, 2010
- Final selection by NIIED: Feb 25, 2010
- Come to Korea : Mar 25~30, 2010
- Start Korean Language Training : April 1, 2010
